Let's play golf for love and children! Free Lunch for Children and Shenzhen Huangying Media unite again to co-organize the 2014 Asian Celebrity Charity Golf Tournament. The tournament will be held at OCT East Wind Valley Golf Sports Park on 18, 19, 20 November 2014. By then, there will be hundreds of domestic and foreign celebrities, sports stars and successful business men participating in the tournament which has been officially upgraded to "2014 Asian Celebrity Charity Golf Tournament" from the "2013 The Mainland, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao Celebrity Charity Golf Tournament."
Su Zhefang, the Deputy Secretary-General of Free Lunch for Children, said: "When people doing good, there is no small good conducts or great good conducts. It is actions we take that makes everything meaningful."There are 56 million left-behind children in rural China and many of whom are poorly fed. To change this worrying situation, there’s still long way to go. As we can see, after the implementation of the national nutrition improvement program, there are still a lot of problems to be solved and a large funding gap existing. We need to find more people with love and strength. We hope that through such activities more and more businesses and individuals can get engaged in charity, working hand in hand with us to improve the nutritional status of rural children and finally shake hunger off.
The first Charity Golf Tournament co-organized by Free Lunch for Children and Huanying Media has been well-known among mass medias and the public. Apart from the first successful game, the charitable and philanthropic vision and the results we achieved at home sow the seeds of our second cooperation.
