At eight pm,7th,Feb,2015, “Back to 20 Years ago” New Year Party was held in the banquet hall on the 3rd floor of Four Seasons Hotel by Private Bank of Guangzhou Branch of China Minsheng Bank. More than 200 private bank clients were attendants. Mrs. Lok Lam ,Senior Assistant of President of Guangzhou Branch, and Mrs.Weiting Ng, General Manager of Private Bank Department, were present by invitation.
It is a theme party about the 90s. It jotted guests’ memory by displaying the old things from 90s, and the old songs playing brought the guests back to their old days; Passionate Disco and cha-cha rejuvenated the guests’ passion and energy when they were young.
Shikun Liu, a world famous pianist, played The Yellow River and then came the climax of the party----“Hands Up For Love” charity auction. Pan Ye, a member of administration committee of Free Lunch Fundation of China Social Public Welfare Foundation, also attended the party and introduced Free Lunch.
There were six goods in the auction. They were a Hamilton pocket watch, one set of CD and one set of DVD signed by Shi Kun Liu, a “Better And Better” inkstone, a set of Tridacna necklace and bracelet, a bronze mirror from Han Dynasty, and a jade small sculpture of Goddess of Mercy. All of the precious goods were donated by the warm-hearted. In the auction, the guests bided fiercely and erupted great applause. The auction totally gained 359000 yuan. All the money will be donated to Free Lunch to save children from hunger. After the auction, Shi Kun Liu played Carman to thank all the warm-hearted.
Private Bank Department of Guangzhou branch of China Minsheng Bank will focus on hosting more charity events in 2015. The Branch will not forget to give back to society while making great achievements. Love is speechless. Kindness is priceless. Only actions can change China.
