Spring is around the corner and FLFC is making progress.

FLFC has organized volunteer teams in over 25 regions around China. Some of them help to implement our program in local schools and supervise its operation, some raise funds for our Free Lunch Program, some make efforts to improve facilities of schools, some have great ideas for local propaganda, some do their best to attract people’s attention for poor children. Our volunteers are like farmers in spring  ploughing, they sow the seeds of FLFC patiently and carefully, and let them take root and sprout.

We would like to show our gratitude here to our sowers who quietly dedicate themselves to FLFC. They are the rain who nurture the children in need! Theire spring buds will become autumn fruites!

—Yuangui Wang

 My name is Yuangui Wang. I used to work in Youth Volunteer Service Foundation of Guizhou Province and Guizhou Home of Love Education Volunteer Group. I became the first volunteer of FLFC in 2011. During 2011 to 2012, I was responsible for visiting FLFC schools in Guizhou, coordinating with local institutions and supervising its operation. From 2013 till now, I started to work on money issues with third-parties. As FLFC is a social welfare project, it not only provides free meals to children who haven’t had lunch for years since they went to school, but also promotes National Nutrition Improvement plan. I feel so honored to be part of this organization, born and raised from love.

My name is Anan. I’m a volunteer of FLFC in Jingde Town and also a journalist. As one of the promoters of FLFC, it makes me more beautiful and stronger.

—Zhui Tang

 I’m Zhui Tang, from FLFC Liangshan Volunteer Team. In September of 2011, I began my volunteer work in this program. As I live in Liangshan, I found that there were a lot of children who went to school without having lunch every day and also suffered from tough conditions, which was so heart-breaking that made up my mind to change this situation as much as I can. With FLFC’s improvement, children’s conditions are getting better. Witnessing the continuous change and progress of FLFC, I have more confidence in this program and I wish to grow along with FLFC.

 My name is Jianxin Ye. I’m from Free Lunch Guangzhou. Since January, 2016, I have been responsible for implementing FLFC program in Guangdong. I took part in this project by chance. In December of 2011, I donated some bookmarks and posters to Free Lunch and then got to know and became a volunteer of FLFC. I took part in the foundation of Guangzhou FLFC volunteer team. Four years have gone, I find that I’m busier indeed but much younger and more energetic.

My name is Mei Tian. I’m from Free Lunch Liangshan Volunteer Team. I first knew this program when a friend of mine took me to a social welfare activity in 2012. For I was born and raised in Liangshan, a rural and remote area, I do understand what children are facing and suffering right now, which is precisely the same I experienced when I was a little girl. After taking part in FLFC, I have visited many poor schools for a lot of times, I was so moved by the innocent eyes and adorable smiles that I made up my mind to perfect myself and help them as much as I can.

These volunteers joined FLFC since its foundation and made it today. Saplings take about three years to become a tree. Flowers take four years to become fruits. Five year can make trees become forests.  2016 is the fifth year of FLFC, these volunteers keep doing one thing, a thing that makes themselves happy, to make people around touched, to make people they’ve never met get benefits. As they have such kind heart, they are what we think the most beautiful people in the world.
